There's nothing about this to be celebrated. Governments are not for profit institutions. If there's a budget surplus, it means Argentinian tax payers were over taxed and they should all be given a refund.
Baby steps grasshopper.
Cutting costs first. Shows surplus. Proves over taxation, and waste by the lefties. Now use surplus to fix key areas needed. Then start to return the money to the people once stable.
Stop whining over your side being shown for who they are.

They only want certain department cuts because they want that government money spent on some other government project.
So does MAGA

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump signed a $1.3 trillion spending measure Friday averting a government shutdown at midnight, acting just hours after saying he was considering a veto.
Trump complained that the legislation does not fully fund his plans for a border wall with Mexico and does not address some 800,000 “Dreamer” immigrants who are now protected from deportation under a program that he has moved to eliminate. He said he signed it in order to provide needed money for the military.
quote:
Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., chairman of the freedom caucus and a friend of the president, said in a tweet that the group would “fully support” a veto, adding that Congress should pass a short-term budget resolution while Trump and congressional leaders “negotiate a better deal for the forgotten men and women of America.”
No different, just the issues change. Then in 2019, he did it again after pretending he wouldnt.

Washington
—
President Donald Trump signed sweeping spending bills after he left Washington on Friday that allow the government to operate even as they do little to address the national debt, avoiding the dramatics of a shutdown crisis,
Trump signed the two bills as he jetted to Florida for two weeks at his Palm Beach resort. The legislation was broken into two bills after Trump said he’d never sign a sweeping government spending measure again.
Trump had earlier signed an enormous defense authorization act at a ceremony before he flew south. The $738 billion bill grants federal employees paid parental leave and authorizes Trump’s much-touted Space Force branch of the military.

Trump, not MAGA.
Do you think the majority of the ~50% of the country that voted for him wants a 1.3 trillion dollar spending measure?

Your appraisal value is likely higher than 2021 thus your tax will be higher. The increase in value has a compounding effect over the years.
I get all that but, I'm in my early 60's home is paid for and no kids in the district.
13k on 2.5 acres with a 40yo 3500sf home? I hear it freezes at 65 but, frick.
I'll never own my home.
When does it fricking stop.
