How do you deescalate that situation? He was throwing blows and prying their weapons away from the cops. I have no doubt he would have murdered them both if he could. Having cops sit through some gay lecture about sensitivity isn’t going to fix that.

If he took their Tazer, he was in effect armed. I hate this narrative that if someone has a weapon that's not a gun, they are unarmed. I don't like cops as much as the next guy but cut the bullshite.
