If tweet fails to load, click here. Baltimore City Public Schools proudly boasts:
- The LOWEST SAT scores in the state
- The LOWEST graduation rate in Maryland
- The LOWEST English proficiency rates around
- The HIGHEST dropout rate (clocking in at over 20%, more than double the state average)
But hey, miracles do happen—because their CEO just got crowned @PSSAM_News Maryland Superintendent of the Year!
Truly the gold standard of excellence. Nothing says "outstanding leadership" like leading the pack... in all the WRONG categories. How do you win superintendent of the year with these statistics..?

We don’t hear anything more on dismantling the dept of education. Why is that?

Even Prez can’t deal with this shite anymore.

20% dropout rate is actually much lower than I thought it would be. I figured it would be around 35-40%..
Grats to Baltimore City Schools....

It seems they hire based on the same criteria they award...
DEI was always bullshite.
Diverse backgrounds are only valuable if the backgrounds are strong.
A background of ignorance, laziness and incompetence was never going to do anything but drag everything down.

Reminder that this is almost entirely the fault of parenting.

I'm guessing staffing and funding are at records levels.

Remember half of them "graduate" while missing 50 or 60 days a year. They dropped out, they just arent classified as dropouts

what percentage of Baltimore is Canadian? Probably a dumb question.

And we all know why but we certainly can’t say it out loud.

What are the demographics?

Attendance audit would reveal that drop out number to be null and void. Federal $$ is tied to attendance so under reporting would mean the $$ keeps flowing.
