DeSantis was as hot as he could be after his second election and building a tremendous resume with the things he did in term one and two. He was stacked up to run after Trump finished his term in 2024. COVID (i.e., China) and Trump, with his need to fight back even the most minor attack, ruined Desantis' timing.
Now Ron will have to sit idle without any power for two years while biding his time for 2028, so, my guess is that he felt like he needed to keep going while he was hot. He just didn't expect that the Trump train was continuing to run.

You need to take a close look at what's had to happen for Donald Trump to sit where he currently sits in this race. Had Joe Biden not shown the entire world that he suffers from a debilitating form of organic brain disease, none of us would be having the conversation about how Trump could actually win this now.
But don't get too excited. Unlike Desantis, Trump could actually frick this up for himself, and frick it up pretty badly.
Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.

We told all of you that the only people with a strong emotional reaction to Trump were the leftists and you people. You just didn't want to listen. The most telling thing about this thread. Is that the subject matter, DeSantis releasing Epstein transcripts to the public, is not being discussed.
However, the TrumpOnlyFans are doing everything they can in this thread to make sure we don't pay attention to the subject of this thread.

So the reason you won't approach the subject matter in this thread, is because other people preferred DeSantis?
Make that make sense. The OP isnt' even an die-hard DeSantis guy. He basically started the smear campaign against DeSantis. Yet he's able to objectively post good things happening in Florida. Why does this scare you?
So to recap, the OnlyTrumpFans are attacking DeSantis for doing good things because other people liked DeSantis over Trump in the primary.
