I believe there is a 0% chance this judge is impeached. You obviously believe he will. I hope you are correct.
At the end of the day, all these politicians, both R &D, are going to need the judicial branch to keep them out of trouble regarding all the dirty money from NGOs, among other things. Therefore, it is in all their best interests to keep judges that can be purchased around

They should have just pressured him to recuse himself due to his daughters connections with that charity group. Even if nothing came of it (nothing is going to happen anyway) at least it would bring attention to the situation and question his motivations.

The votes aren't there in the Senate to convict, but the impeachment process itself is akin to what the dems/deep staters put Gen. Flynn through.
Who knows, as brazen as this leftist judge is, the impeachment investigation could turn up criminal and ethical violations that will make him resign.

This judge is a disgrace. Many people are saying that. Many smart, tough people. The judge made his ruling like a dog. Sad.

I have never said that I think he will be impeached
I have said often on this board for years and the past couple of months in particular that only Congress can impeach either the judicial or executive branch
So saying it can be done
saying it should be done
and saying it will be done
all different things
At a minimum, this Congress can start the process this executive branch and its appointees in the Justice Department will likely support the move
It serves as a threat to the other activist judges, whether this impeachment reaches the point of conclusion. and he is impeached and either removed from the bench outright or lose his law license
He then loses his ability to be on the bench
I think that people here and I agree with them are suggesting that the threat of that might tamp down some of the activist judges and other districts.
So one might infer from your choice of username as Rand rules that you're a big fan of Rand Paul I will say his ah I voted for him in the primary when he was on the ballot but no longer a candidate by the time the primary reached Texas in two thousand sixteen
One would hope that a fellow Paulite,, I also supported his father Ron a big fan of his father his father had donated to several campaigns I ran and I've had the pleasure of nice quiet private meetings with him over the years.
And went to a couple of sit-downs with Rand when he was running in 16,
I digress I was just saying I would hope that a polite would be as familiar with the constitution as either Ron or Rand or anybody who claims to understand who they are and what they stand for .

My post was not meant as an attack or challenge on you or your views. I apologize if I made it look that way.
I agree with everything you just stated.
I do support both of the Pauls. They are great Americans and they are two of the only politicians I trust in any way, shape or form. My username, however, refers entirely to Ayn Rand.

I disagree with her about God,Faith and its role in society's right to establish standards and its role in Public Service
But if it's not done in total sincerity and for the right reasons it not only means nothing

Totally agree with your disagreements on Rand. Thats my only criticism of her as well.
