I admit I switched it to CNN for the first time in a long while and even in military action reporting they got their nasty hate Trump in.
I think people tuned into Maddow for the same reason. She called it wag the dog.

Yeah yeah. And on the flip side, you have a lot of younger folks screaming at the sky and scared that mentally ill trans people will be sent to concentration camps. MSNBC tells them what they want to here.

Cause, when I want the news I get it from a grown woman that tries to look like a teenage boy.

This. As a former office manager, FNC was not allowed in the clinics. It caused too many people to get upset and complain. The rare person who requested the channel be turned to FNC was politely told “No”.

It's hilarious that you think that. I'm (or should say I WAS) an independent heading into the 2016 election (didn't vote for Trump of Hillary). The Democratic party, liberals/progressives, and MSM have been such a shitshow since the election that y'all have driven countless swing voters like me into the Trump camp. If it was your intention to drive undecideds to rebel against Trump you've failed miserably. Your Russia Russia Russia/#resist strategy has pissed me and many moderates like me off. Fox is the only channel that even pretends to look at the other side of issues. Yes they have partisan hacks like Hannity who go overboard but at least he is shining the light on the toxic double standard when it comes to the media and the FBI/DOJ when it comes to media coverage and justice in this country. You can laugh Fox off as old people but you're in for a rude awakening in November 2018 and 2020 if you think the pulse of independents is on the anti-Trump side. If the economy continues to hum along and y'all continue the #resist without any substantive Russian collusion proof then your anti Trump dreams are going to be in for a very rude awakening. If there's no proof of Trump/Russian collusion or some other serious crime proven between now and 2020 I'm voting for Trump. Something I didn't think I could ever do. There are tens of thousands of others like me too.

I’m right with you. I was actually a liberal and voted mostly democrat, until the Dems decided straight white men should be illegal.

Making tons of money? You are the exception, if that is the case. 43% of men under the age of 35 still live with their parents! If you all are making so much money, then move the frick out on your own.
I am a Gen Xer, but I was taught to respect my elders. Your fricking generation disrespects the same people keeping a roof over your head.
Tell me again about the prime of your lives. A large percentage of black males will never see the age of 25. If they do see mid-age, most of them will see it behind bars. Women no longer want to marry men because the guys cannot support themselves, much less a woman. Sexually, women would prefer a dildo or another woman. Things are so good for your generation that people change genders and sexual orientation in hopes that someone will like them. When they don't, they kill themselves.

There are a lot of contributing factors to the living with parents aspect. I was a home owner pretty early but I started military and transitioned into an amazing career so I don't claim to be representative. I'm also on the border between gen x and mil. That said, old folks like to make ridiculous comparisons. Tuition was payable with a no skill job. Middle class was attainable for basically all blur collar folks. Degrees were a bonus rather than required to get in the door.
Frankly, "success" on the same terms was easier. On the flip side millennials are very entitled as a result. They saw their parents succeed on way less than what it takes now so they assume a degree is a golden ticket.

Other big factor is housing. Owning a home is the single most salient example of achieving the American Dream, at least historically. Older generations (boomers, silent generation, post ww2 parents, etc) were attracted to suburban life and wanted to move away from city. Land is cheaper out in open areas where housing tracts and neighborhoods are still being developed.
Millenials want to live in the city....that simply is going to cost more.

Solid point. Millennial movement to the city has also driven up prices for the poor who traditionally need to live in public transport distance from work and stores

If you view Fox as a moderate perspective then I don't think you were an attainable vote. If Hannity doesn't offend ya then you are on the other team. Enjoy your propaganda and the Viagra adverts.

It's state news. The only place I see Fox is at military sites. Where you would expect such a thing.

Fox news is mostly editorial shows, anyway. Not different than MSNBC. These are tv versions of partisan news sites.
CNN used to be objective hard news, but it has been terrible over last few years.
Cable news sucks arse all around. The "panel" setup is totally ridiculous. When I want to learn about a current event, I do not want to see 5 people yelling at each other.
If you are sane....you get your news from articles online or from local news.

I've said repeatedly on here that cable news sucks. But fox stands out as the most popular and the most blatantly extreme prime time programming. Hannity is practically a political surrogate.

Also..only reason it is more popular is because leftwing Americans split their viewership between CNN and MSNBC.

It seems to me that you find yourself intelligent. The problem is you keep posting, exposing to everyone that your a partisan hack, at best.
You speak ill of Fox news (I agree it sucks), but then act like CNN and MSNBC are any better. They're not. Don Lemon and Maddow are exponentially worse than Hannity, and that's saying something.
The saying holds true. If you vote Republican before 30, you have no heart. If you vote Democrat after 30, you have no brain.

I think the notion of Republicans being sound thinking men went out of the window when Trump won the nomination. This ain't Reagan's Republican party. A reality tv star embarrassment is the right wing hero now. No high horse
