Well, the Angles and the Saxons were different Germanic tribes
The history of England is a STUDY in mixed ethnicity, but there was certainly a TIME when the Angles and Saxons (and the Jutes to a lesser extent) DID dominate the island.
I just don't see the historical point that Cambridge is trying to make here.

The latest suggests there are three large groups, one Bronze and Iron Age, one made up of North Europeans, and a third which shares an overlap with Iron Age France.
