Why didn't they do this when they controlled both chambers of Congress? Grandstanding at its finest, which is what Schumer does. He's an obnoxious blowhard. I despise him.

Republicans need to learn how to play this game. Here's how -
Say yes to this. We're all for it, but we won't sign off on anything until the wall is built and illegal immigration on the southern border stops. Also, amnesty we're talking about will be extended to those that illegally immigrated before 2020. We're not going to reward Biden for this border policies. Divide this political constituency.
Then, of course, if the wall is ever built and illegal immigration is a trickle, we go back on our word and frick off on amnesty.
