Taken to its logical conclusion it’s a destructive philosophy.
Man is inherently unequal, and thus the doctrine of equality will compel you to even the score - by elevating one man beyond his natural capabilities, or hobbling another man who is capable of more.
Even in the law it is not a reality. Who is better protected in the court? A poor man, or a rich man? The rich man can afford better legal defense, and the truly rich can pay politicians to rewrite the law to their benefit.
But we pretend not to know that.
But you do not believe in the truth, or anything you could call facts. Truth is individual, not universal.
And so fairness is defined by the individual, and it becomes a tool of the envious, to destroy and replace successful people that they hate.
It rewards the worst in society
