Wgich products at costco have gone up cause of tariffs
Maybe none, which would be reason to sue. They're eating the cost instead of their customers.

I’m not aware of any but if they haven’t already, they will eventually pass the cost on to the consumer as they should.
As a shareholder, I do not want my company to eat this cost with few exceptions. Maybe to gain market share. Maybe for certain items that they want to discount… or other reason that make sense but as a general rule, as a shareholder, I don’t want to see my company absorb these costs.

They should probably figure out why tariffs exist then.
Tell us why

Costco 's the first, but they won't be the last.

To promote buying domestic.
I try to buy American-made items every chance I get. Well, wife really does. It does cost a bit more, but I like supporting American companies, especially smaller ones.

It's a fundamental premise of a free market. When suppliers have to pay more they charge more.
First, their chinese suppliers lowered their price to costco so costco could pay the tariff AND maintain their margin. But lets use the premise above and do the math.
Costco pays a dollar for an item and makes 20% so they charge 1.20. They profit 20 cents.
Costco pays a dollar and ten cents in tariff makes 20% so they charge 1.32. They profit 22 cents.
So they actually made more money with the tariffs and want to get repaid the tariffs as well? So the consumer gets fcked and costco makes profit on top of profit?
Believe it or not, this is how the govt has ruled in price fixing schemes via Robinson Patman. The consumer actually paid more and the govt fines companies and gives the money to the stores that actually profited from the price fixing.

Did they sue Biden for runaway inflation? Eggs, bacon, and several other staples there are cheaper now than they were during last admin.

It’s been reported for months now. Walmart, target, Marshall’s, tj maxx, etc, will pass along the tariffs to consumers eventually.
If I am not mistaken, a big point of the tariffs from the beginning was to get these guy to buy American. Are they making a move to do so?

If they have it hasn’t been reported.
Fwiw- Manufacturing report for September shows that there is a decline in manufacturing year over year.

I do too and have made it a point to buy American only for Christmas for the past 10 years. It’s real hard. I have yet to pull it off 100%.

Why did we have "runaway inflation?"
Simple question.

So we should see prices at Costco really fall if they win. Right?
They have an accurate list of everything you purchased from them since 2023 on their app. Seems like if they get the tariff money back then it would be easy for them to refund their customers. Surely that’s what their plan is, isn’t it?

But you’ll support a new regulation in heartbeat, no matter what it costs you.

Find one post where I support more regulation. Youre lying again.
