It’s a corporate restaurant chain built around comfort food. The food you grew up with. Grandma’s food. I can spell it out for you, but I can’t understand it for you.

That YOU grew up with. You're projecting. Again, the stats are there, you just think the company is lying.

You are arguing with a Yankee NY liberal in case you didn’t know. A trans loving and abortion loving progressive.

I’m not arguing with your dumb arse. I don’t GAF if CB goes out of business tomorrow. But if you think building a business on good, home cooked country food, friendly service, and a rustic, country atmosphere, and saving it involves nasty shitty food, modern aesthetics, and embracing DEI, woke, and LGBT, you’re even dumber than I thought.

You call me dumb and yet you can't even correctly describe my position. I don't think that you're intellectually capable of reading and understanding concepts and positions.

It's funny that you also say that you don't care about CB, yet here you are describing your emotional attachment to its brand. It's kind of odd.

Wrong on all accounts of course. Par for the course for you. You were also born and raised farther North than me, but go ahead and go off.

Cracker Barrel was completely broken before this

The pancakes were pretty good. Uncle Herschel's breakfast was fairly tasty and filling. The menu variety ensures that most people can find something they want to eat. For the elderly and disabled, having a comfortable place to sit while waiting for a table is nice. Unfortunately going woke ignores the demographic that enjoyed eating there. Conservative seniors in the south who previously enjoyed Cracker Barrel can find other options

Since BlackRock and Vanguard are all about making money, apparently this was their sacrificial lamb to do as you say above. BlackRock and Vanguard own about 50% of but you would think those companies would have some responsibilities to the stockholders to do everything possible to salvage the business. They obviously screwed it up but there is not much value in failed restaurants except for the property they own. Just doesn't make sense to me but then, I'm not eat up with PC crap they are trying to shove down our throats. The whole thing could close tomorrow and I wouldn't miss but that's lots of families that depend on the work. Sad!

I don't believe that I will, Carpetbagger. Exactly when did you pack up and head South?

You should hush.

I was born in the South. Yankees always say shite like they know everything.

Hush.

What’s worse is you are a carpet bagger yourself. Just the Yankee version.

I don’t have to correctly describe your position, when I can correctly describe the position of the CEO, the new decor, and the state of the food they serve. She and you obviously think turning your back on all the things that make CB a success will bring in a new, younger demographic. But that’s asinine, as anyone who worked at a thousand other failed companies will tell you. You don’t re-brand by shitting on your core business.

Yes. The Yankee version. Not the real version.

Weirdo.

The most Southern State in the Union historically.

Focusing on that demographic is what broke Cracker Barrell.

Well, how is it they’ve been in business since 1969? Yes different generations like to eat home cooked meals at places like CB. You people aren’t very smart, but you do hold the record for most downvotes. Ever.

Are you being a contrarian on purpose or are you really this stupid? And I know you are really this stupid. So you are just being a contrarian on purpose, right? Playing the role of Displaced Buckeye for a minute?
