I mean, kind of. Before the First World War, Arab cultures were very honor bound cultures. Yes there was Sharia, but there really weren’t any actual laws in the Middle East. The law was pretty much as good as your word between the tribal lords, and they put a lot of stock into that when it came to other tribes in the region. Basically all they had to do is pay taxes to the Ottomans as their serfs and they were largely left to their own devices.
Enter the British and the French. They promised them the world and sent TE Lawrence to manage them and teach them the tactics that helped them beat the Ottomans. And Lawrence truly believed what he was selling them.
Then when the war ended, the British and the French pulled out the rug from all of them and then split up the Middle East for themselves instead. That absolutely blew the Arabs minds and pretty much drove them crazy.
And then after another horrible war, they hand over the Holy Land (not willingly as the Zionists would have you believe) to the Jews and put the people living there for like 1500 years at this point into hardcore exile and killed a bunch of them.
You really need to understand WWI and the relationship with the Europeans who were much more cutthroat than they were at the time to understand the Arabs of today.
Like what we think of as Jihad these days didn’t really re-arise until the 1920s. Yes, it was something Muslims did a lot back in the Middle Ages, but largely stopped under the Ottomans. Then after the war and getting royally fricked over, they went back to the scriptures and found the solution they were looking for, and the Middle East has been a shite show ever since.

Anyway, Libertarianism is the same as Communism with the difference being their belief in human nature. The Commies believe that when the state disappears the people will live in harmony sharing everything equally. The Libertarians believe that when the state withers away the people will settle into their own levels of wealth. Both think that folks will voluntarily build roads and bridges and collect the trash.

He doesn’t, he always moves the goal post when his arguments hit a wall. He gives ground on things that are predetermined and he knows he’ll have to going into discussions. That isn’t the same thing as admitting when you’re wrong.

What are we to make of the theory or fact that Bibi is motivated by the will to stay in power to avoid criminal charges and that October 7th was either intentional (caused it to happen by supplying Hamas), intentional in terms of allowing it to happen or Israeli security forces were totally taken by surprise?
I think the latter is totally inconceivable but it is the MSM/Zionists narrative. This narrative has also allowed Bibi to stay in power and avoid criminal charges.

A) Don’t mistake libertarianism for anarchism. Libertarians are typically fine with a small level of tax that maintains the roads, the police, the fire department, and a smaller military. I’m at least getting something from my investment here.
B) Libertarianism is the opposite of communism in that it emphasizes the individual and personal responsibility over collectivism and being a slave to the state.
C) Outside of the military industrial complex, the intelligence agencies, the government, federal reserve, communists, and Nazis, they tend to see the best in people and naively assume that people won’t be evil and try to seize the power. That may be true for them, but it’s not for society writ large.

I believe that’s a major reason for what Bibi is doing. If he stops what he’s doing and is thrown out of office, then his successor may willing send him to The Hague to be tried for war crimes. Doing so may logically stifle much of the conflict in the Middle East if Bibi pays for his crimes against humanity, but then again Bibi’s successor may be afraid a future PM will do that to him/her as well.

IMO 90% of the people that vote have no idea of Bibi's motivations.

For all intents and purposes, the Arabs were largely still a bunch of medieval serfs who mostly did not go more than 30 miles from where they were born for thousands of years. They had little idea of the outside world, had no idea who their rulers were, and the only literate person was the Imam that came by the village once every few months to perform funerals, weddings, and other important ceremonies.
If the Mongols had been successful in taking all of Europe, I don’t think we’d be saying as Europeans “Well, they were largely a bunch of filthy serfs tending to farmland that wasn’t theirs, so who cares?”
The British and French took their lands from them because they could and didn’t see them as fully human not because they needed a leader. And that could have been you if you were born at the wrong place at the wrong time.
