Honestly, just block her on FB then. It’s not worth the grief.
And when she brings up something in the future referencing a post she’s made on Facebook, you can respond to her by saying, “I actually hid your posts a while ago. I got tired of the political rants.”
It’ll drive her bonkers, and you won’t have to read the drivel. Win-win.

She's your mom.
If you really feel she's done you harm, then you should consider how much time you'll spend with her.
If she's just using free speech (a lot of it from the looks), it's none of your business what she says or thinks.
But with social media, there are ways to limit what you have to see. You can not block maybe but instead you can unfollow her.
I have my own views but I would never cut anyone out over their views unless it was doing me direct harm or I just don't want to see it.

You wouldn't let your kids see their grandmother just because your Mom doesn't have the same political beliefs as you? My Mom is a liberal and we just let each other be. We take little jabs at each other, but I would never not let her see my kids just because we disagree.

Simply not true. My mom is a blue-dog Democrat who has no idea the party she is a part of left her years ago, but she gets her orders from MSNBC and spews them out. I just laugh at her regurgitated nonsense. Some liberals are scumbags, but some conservatives are too. With that being said, my liberal Mom would never let anything happen to children, especially her grandchildren.
