Idiot.

Denmark screwed the pooch with Greenland. Legacy of the "Little Danes experiment," forced sterilization, corporate apartheid, etc. will linger forever with Greenlanders.

The Danish Self-Government Act of 2009 was a response. It recognizes Greenland's right to self-determination. It requires both Greenlandic and Danish parliamentary approval though, and Danish approval is a major hurdle. Hence the pressure on Denmark.

A majority of Greenlanders support independence and there are already draft constitutions for an independent republic. You are ignorant as to the facts here. It's a very bad look when. you post something this stupid.

We don’t have the ability to stop conventional weapons?
Who knew.

Denmark has the French/European equivalent of the Patriot system. Not sure what your point is supposed to be. Our capabilities in basic subsonic missile defense are not worlds apart.

Denmark answered the call of its ally after 9/11 and deployed thousands of troops to Afghanistan (Iraq, too, for that matter).

Denmark lost more soldiers per capita in defense of America than any other NATO country (aside from the U.S.).

Good for them. How does that number compare to the number of Americans who died defeating Nazi Germany? I bet the number of Americans is higher.

Threatening to invade your friends is not the American way.

We are no threatening to invade Greenland. That is just nonsense that the establishment media especially in Europe media and liberals on social media are running with to make Trump look foolish. We're trying to get Denmark to either sell Greenland to us or to sign a deal similar to what we have with the Mariana Islands, Palau, etc in the Pacific. I am no military expert and I do not know the specifics but from what I read, Greenland is vital to the Golden Dome project which will protect the USA from nuclear missiles.

Cool, how many?

As noted Kaliningrad is basically a large military base.

Led (with France) the Atlantic slave trade in the 18th century but I've never heard a single person bring that up when talking about colonialism. Why do you give them a pass for that?

Yet in 3 tours I never came across a single Dane. Granted, I was in areas where actuial combat operations were going on. Met brittish, French, and Israelis. Not one single Dane.
If they sent 10 people and lost 2, sure... thats a casualty rate, I guess.
