We’ve lost soldiers in training exercises before. Your point?

This isn’t a training exercise.

If that was true why are we involved at all with this?
Because tyrants have to fall.
We also wanted to control the oil supply, so what. This is more about control everywhere than it is Iran. Iran is just a wet fart. They actually mean nothing.
Look, I’m no fan of Israel, trust me. Far from it.

No way!
I was pointing out that a soldier dying does not mean a war is ongoing.

Donald Trump. Himself called it a war,
And it ain't pretty

Well the president campaigned on no new wars and continues to lie to MAGA. A majority of the podcasters that supported him have jumped ship.
MAGA would have turned on Charlie Kirk right about now.

There were three paths:
A) accept the globalist path and handover the middle class and our individual freedoms to the WEF
B) reduce our empire to a defensive posture in the western hemisphere to minimize defense spending while onshoring jobs to create a sustainable less interventionist bipolar world
C) expand the empire with the intent of being able to profit from it before our economy collapses under the weight of the debt we’ve already incurred
Trump ran on B but has opted for C. As long as he can stick the landing on regime change in Iran and Venezuela the leverage for tariffs has never been higher.
Im anti-aggressive war on moralistic grounds because Im a Christian, and opposed this intervention at this juncture because I don’t think we can sustain it long enough to give us a reasonable assurance that we can achieve the outcome we want, but from a pure power play standpoint we’re witnessing the boldest geopolitical move since WW2.
If Trump pulls of what he’s attempting (Venezuela/Iran/tariffs/onshoring) the US will be in position for a generation to deal with our debt issue from a place of leverage unimaginable even two years ago.
-The WEF would be at our feet economically and militarily
-Russia will have to make a deal vis-à-vis Ukraine having seen what we’re capable of on the battlefield and having lost two major allied nations in just months
-China will be on its heels globally as the its vassal states globally readjust to an incredibly powerful and assertive America empowered by a transformational leader
-Vance/Rubio would be in a position to continue the course post Trump

The Arab v Jew blood feud goes way back in Religious lore. Muhammad put it on a collision course with his suicidal ‘Martyrdom’ narrative. Add nuclear to that dynamic and the “choice “ becomes clear.
Pride weighs heavily in the feud and the fanatical Shiite Muslim Jihadist take their religion seriously. That are sworn to take out the State of Israel and we’re very close to having nukes. No matter what we do Israel’s definitely we’re going to preemptively attack the Jihadists. They have been fighting proxy wars for years and it had come down to a nuclear showdown. “Never Again “ being definitive.
If those fanatical Mullahs had their bombs and the capacity to deliver they would do so. And you can damn well bet the farm that the behind closed doors dialogue re Jews v Muslims was clear and on par with that of this Board. Jewish subs would have turned the Muslim ME into a Hiroshima wasteland, I., “blood up to the bridle of a horse “.
Bottom line: Islamists had to go. That is the pragmatic choice which was made. The Sunni Muslims know that they are on the verge of owning Europe and making great strides in America as well, so why force a calamitous showdown when they are guaranteed victory anyway.
They chose wisely. And now we can all get back to competing for the almighty ’dollar’. And the Marxist will fill the Revolution gap.

If we truly didn’t have a choice here, then the current POTUS should have campaigned on that reality, rather than promising that we would reject foreign entanglements and concentrate on our own country.

Was Israel going to go at it alone?
100% they were convinced that if Iran got nukes, they were going to threaten to hit Tel Aviv weekly until they actually did.
They really saw it as an existential threat.

Israel should finish it. But our naval support should remain.

Have you ever once stopped and thought, “maybe Iran wants nukes because Israel has nukes. And as long as Israel has nukes, Iran feels very threatened.”
I say we blow up Israel’s secret nuclear centrifuges so we can finally have peace in the Middle East.

Thats obvious, but its also obvious that Iran would have continued to posture that they would use them.
The point isn’t how Iran felt, its how Israel felt, and thats undeniable.

If you think that's going to happen or would have any impact on middle east peace...
You would be a fool.

Only dumb, arrogant people in the west think this way. If you can’t understand the motivations of your enemy, and can only think through your side’s own, you have a logic problem.

It absolutely would and we can only hope one day an American leader is strong enough to make it happen.
The day Israel ‘stole’ from us to create their secret nuclear weapons program was the day they stopped listened to what we told them to do. They’ve been a rogue nation ever since. They are the reason there’s been war in the Middle East 24/7 for the past 40 years. People don’t want to admit it but they have an apocalyptic eschatology that is on par, if not worse, than the Muslims do. They are demonic, anti-Christ, religious zealots.

Israel can and should take care of Israel. Israel to me knowledge never has offered to help the US secure our southern border, or help with drug interdiction, or assist with keeping China out of the Gulf, or any other Western Hemisphere issue.
Our interest in the ME should be protecting our assets there.

... dude maybe you non western thinkers are just inbred and retarded.
1. Israel is not my enemy, nor are they my side.
2. I'm telling you how Israel thinks
3. Israel is your enemy and you seem to be unable to accept how they think.
4. There is amazing irony that you cant think well enough to see your enemy's side while claiming others cant see their enemy's side... you may want to rethink that.

Sorry your gay mayor of NYC will never be president.
Only Muslims or inbred morons would ever consider attacking Israel.

Yup, the Russians did as well. Thats obviously not why you hate them.
