There really is no place for libertarian politics in America, which is sad. The SJW's have zero respect for individual freedom and instead want an authoritarian state where power is based on identity politics and victimization. The mainstream of both political parties have zero differences when it comes to foreign policy (maintaining the empire), NSA spying, monetary policy and the War on Drugs (including civil forfeitures). I had hoped Ron Paul's movement would continue after he retired, and though I still think Rand is the best hope nationally for libertarian ideas, there has to be some ability for the party to gain seats in local governments and state legislatures. You really need a strong party infrastructure in order to succeed in federal elections.

I hate that neoliberal became a generic boo word here bc when we were the only ones using it it was easier for me to search and determine which memes I had already posted

Because I think libertarians that have abandoned their principles on immigration for security against attacks while standing firm on gun control funny.

The Ron Paul faction of the Libertarian Party had a much more paleoconservative approach to immigration than did the Russell Means faction. With Means being an indigenous peoples activist and AIM leader, I think it made him much more sympathetic to the plight of immigrants.

It's not for security against attacks, it's for security against voting Mexicans

Well that's a separate conversation I don't necessarily agree with, but College specifically referenced terror attacks earlier.

It's done nothing to defend our freedoms. If that was his argument, he is right.

There's nothing inherently libertarian about the Constitution. It has some provisions consistent with libertarianism and others that aren't.

Libertarians needs a serious party. The Libertarian party right now is a joke. I voted Libertarian last election for the first time. I moved on from the Democratic Party in 2012 and Voted for Romney who i thought of as Moderate. Libertarians also need money. It's time for the Libertarians to get serious the window is open right now.

I consider myself a libertarian realist but not a former libertarian.

Libertarian beliefs worked fine until we got covered up with "immigrants" and let them vote
