Sorry but until Ron joins the race and spells out what he wants to do this is all pretty much irrelevant

you obviously can't say desantis is bad at getting his policies through, so it must be the actual policies you dislike.

So which policies are they that turns you off?

Surely you're not voting on emotion like liberals do?

If trump isn’t electable then DeSantis and everyone else isn’t as well. Which means it’s not a Trump problem
you can't see the swath of voters that would vote for desantis and not Trump?

Even if we're talking strictly cheating, the dems will stop at nothing to keep Trump out of office. I'm not sure they have that same vigor towards desantis

Hes already been electable. And then added 7 million more votes in his 2nd run

The country is hurting, and dont give a shite about the tight assholes of the GOPe and mean tweets. He will likely get 7 million more this run

And even the great one Obama lost 4 million voters during his 2nd run, so Biden will definitely lose much, much more than that. Trump will likely only need to hold his voters from 2020, and coast back in

Even this board, one of the few strongly pro-Trump places on the web, is split on this. Trump made a ton of good ground with the generic GOP voter and moderates between 2016 and 2020, and the results showed it....and then he pissed it away after the results of the 2020 general election came in, ultimately costing 2 senate seats in Georgia.

The Trump supporting Q-anon movement (also famous on this board) also came to the broader light after the 2020 general election and Jan. 6th protests. The moderates who pulled the trigger on Trump in Nov. 2020 didn't have any clue what this even was about, and now they're being lead by MSM to assume it was a Trump-led attempt at insurrection (it wasn't, but it doesn't matter).

My fear is that Biden will lose votes ONLY if Trump isn't the candidate. If Trump is on the ticket, no liberal alive is staying home.

The Joe Biden they described and promised was beyond vastly different than the Joe Biden they got, and it would be pretty hard for me to believe that some number of his 2020 voters aren’t gonna hold that against them/him. On top of that it would be a referendum on HIS record of accomplishments or the lack thereof this time around, and that’s gonna be historically difficult to defend.

No nondemocrat is electable.

Republican presidential candidates won't be able to win against the msm/social media/ gov/Democrat combo.

In 2020 Biden was able to stay in his basement the entire election cycle and not campaign at all. Msm and social media did all the work for him.

In 2022..that same strategy was used in the Arizona governor's race. Democrat stayed in her basement and let the msm do the work for her.

Also in 2022.. msm convinced a lot of people that voting for a brain damaged individual was better than voting for a guy who is pretentious.

At some point the media will have to be pulled out of its stupidity. Either the 10% - 20% prime rates, inflation, endless or winless wars, or upcoming economic storm, the media will dust off the misery index again and have to start reporting how bad it is and people will realize it is time for a change no matter the Republican candidate. Look at the 1980 election. If you watch some of the clips of Election Night coverage from that year, the networks started out with ole Jimmy has a chance, and by the time the first few states came in and exit polling came out, they changed their tune fast knowing Ronnie was going to win bigly.

Part of the local media is on its last legs, local newspapers are fading fast. Through corporate mergers of years past and continued downsizing, some may not survive an extended economic downturn.

That is also why California and a bill in Congress is pushing for Facebook and other tech giants to pay more for local media sources. I find the bill rather selective in that the government or quasi agency will be the one who picks and chooses which local news sources are eligible and they will determine the rates that will only benefit big newspapers.

It almost sounds like an ASCAP or BMI scheme that only benefits those 2 organizations in the name of giving pennies to artists, publishers, and writers while using strong armed tactics at businesses that play music.

Yes yes. There is no msm influence going on. It's all just trump being trump. Msm is totally fair and neutral.

And who’s to say we may not like the disciple of Trump in 28 not RINO Ron?

Ron is not the default choice to Trump. People can dislike him and support someone other than Trump.

And we are the cult? Lol

You are accusing the OP of being part of a DeSantis cult, but he never mentioned DeSantis.
