Bad enough the moderator is a never trumper /former biden intern...but got to draw the line at having to require Joe dodging questions on his own. The only benefit of a virtual setting is the Dems may be off enough to pick up the lip sync errors

It's all about risk tolerance.

The science says that if we reduce the speed limit on the interstate to 30 MPH that we will save thousands of lives.

So are we doing that? Hell No.

Why not? Becuase we are Americans not Karens.

And Americans are willing to accept more risks.

Americans invented the Airplane.

Americans put men on the moon.

Americans fought two global enemies at opposite ends of the world, simultaneously, and fricking won!

That's what we do!

And if you don't fricking like it, shut the frick and go back to your basement!

If Biden won't debate Trump face to face out of fear of COVID then he has no business being President!

Biden loves to "act" tough

The response of a third-grader. Congrats on making it out of the second grade.

Are you laughing because Trump said that and you think it's dumb or because, in the end, you think he WILL participate?

If it's the latter, I would tend to agree with you.

"After long deliberations and assurances with adequate measures in place to prevent cheating, I will reluctantly agree to participate in the debate. It's not my first choice for a debate format, but blah blah blah." Something along those lines.

CDC recommendations are 10-20 days. Given Joe Biden’s age and asthma, 20 days seems a rational decision.
Put up plexiglass to the damn ceiling between them.

Joe is frail, fragile and feeble - HE needs to be protected.

Honestly, both. He shoots from the hip without thinking which led to his initial statement, but I highly doubt he sticks to it.

As someone with a very long history of doing this, I can totally relate.

Hey Mickey. Your Biden just commented on Trump's refusal to do virtual debate and he said "I dunno, I'm not gonna comment! I'm gonna do whatever the commission tells me to!! Now, c'mon! Let's go get some french toast and pickles, fat!"

What a leader huh?

OK- I mostly made up the last sentence, but taken from Joe's greatest hits.

That's not always a bad thing. You generally come across as honest and genuine when you do that.
