I've always thought Bondi was sloppy. Sending that premature letter to Harvard for example. Firing prosecutors for doing their ethical duty in court. and others. I like her fine. She is no dummy. But she is sloppy. I'm always wary of DA's and Attorney Generals, state and federal, who pander. A good prosecutor doesn't need to pander. She just does her job and does it well. The results usually speak for themselves.

IMO, Trump forced them off the case because it is too complicated and time consuming. Trump even said that Patel and Bongino are “going back to the basics.”

The kind of assumptions being made can also unfairly damage reputations especially when people don’t have the means or platform to publicly defend themselves. It's a textbook case of how a scandal can become a mirror, reflecting not just the truth, but our suspicions, biases, and frustration with other cases where justice wasn’t served. Yet falsely accusing people is just as much a miscarriage of justice.
