Nonsensical. Ivermectin, whether it can help against covid or not... is harmless to the person taking it.
Patient's family wants it. Takes a few seconds to print up a liability disclaimer for the family to sign.
5% survival rate. I'm sure the hospital also forbids moving the patient to another hospital. So basically that dude is gonna die for sure, and the hospital destroyed all hope by refusing allow alternative meds. That should be illegal.
If it was me in that dire situation, I would probably drive to other areas and buy some ivermectin tablets, and then give them to my family member as a last ditch effort.
I mean, frick. That hospital is acting like ivermectin is super aids, cancer and the Ebola virus combined.

So yea, the patient needs to die for the claim.
No, they don’t. Lord.
They just need a Covid diagnosis.

Why would they want him off the vent?
Because it’s a fixed amount given for vent patients. If they get him off the vent after two days, they still get the vent money. And they don’t have to provide vent care.

Im not Lord. I just read it and it does state discharge papers or death certificate, still not much reason to allow alternatives.
Hey 808, if you got something to add then add. Quit the snarky BS.

discharge papers
These are the papers you get when you go home. Alive.

Stop posting out of your arse and I’ll stop the snark. Propagating nonsense doesn’t help advance the truth.

The hospital won't allow any of it because its not part of their protocol and they don't allow outside doctors in the hospital.
This translates to most expensive in healthcare administration vernacular.

I conceded that ding dong. I said I found it on a reread. Also, edited my statements in the thread. See how this works?

Not true.

Aight. Kudos to you. I didn’t read your post correctly.

You should be very careful as to which hospital you take a patient for Covid symptoms.
I would suggest everyone reading this thread look up treatment protocols for area hospitals ahead of time so that you know where to go if and when treatment is needed.
Getting them to shift treatment protocols after admission can literally require a court injunction and meanwhile your loved one is languishing and possibly being treated with drugs linked to serious side effects…

Not true.
It’s pretty much true. What did we give to all the refugees coming to the US from Middle Eastern, Asian, North African, Latin American, and Caribbean locations?

Which is most likely not going to succeed. Good advice in your post.

How would A family member get ivermectin into a patient on a vent?

+10. Never would have given it a second thought before.

Seems like a judge with common sense would agree with this.

Discharge papers or death certificate either don’t matter for Medicare patients but why would a hospital care when you hit this gold mine.
You get a 20% premium add on to the bill.

Jensen said, "Hospital administrators might well want to see COVID-19 attached to a discharge summary or a death certificate. Why? Because if it's a straightforward, garden-variety pneumonia that a person is admitted to the hospital for – if they're Medicare – typically, the diagnosis-related group lump sum payment would be $5,000. But if it's COVID-19 pneumonia, then it's $13,000, and if that COVID-19 pneumonia patient ends up on a ventilator, it goes up to $39,000."
