I used to get invoices for outside counsel to go through. They NEVER had a date completed and a total number of hours. They had every date they worked in that case, who worked it, their hourly rate, and the total for that particular task.
Wait this dude just turned in invoice with date completed and total hours?

“Truth is a defense to libel” comes to mind.
If you fricking did what they said, it ain’t an attack. It is speaking the truth.

Wade is desperately trying to get the prosecutors to understand "The Law of the Hood", and it's not working.

This guy is definitely trying to hide the fact that he has other side pieces. Remember he’s trying to protect himself on two fronts, this proceeding and his divorce proceedings. The problem with that is that if he tries to cover his arse on one front he’s exposing his arse on another. Him trying to split hairs on every single question shows he’s clearly trying to thread the needle

I wonder if he is regretting that first blow job from Fani that led him down this path.

This guy seems to be an object lesson in how coming clean on one thing and moving on is probably a LOT better fricking idea than dwelling on things and having your story picked apart.

Apparently they asked him about an invoice with a date completed and 24 hours billed. He said he bills with the date task is completed and the total
number of hours worked.

Should but may not.
You know there will be people trying to run interference for him with the state bar.

Exactly! The gig is up. They have you. Just come clean and admit what everyone knows, you’ve been smashing for years. Take your medicine and move on.

I don't know how lawyers who operate their finances like this can even turn in tax returns. They probably pay their accountants 5-figures every year.
