How is it that almost contemporaneous with reportage on the indictment itself, we are also informed that unidentified “senior DOJ prosecutors” recommended not seeking this indictment? If I were the U.S. Attorney for that district, I’d want to know who in my office released that tidbit to the mob of cicadas.
