After Conyers got forced out the Congressional Black Caucus was one of the loudest set of voices calling for Franken to step down. If he doesn't, they are going to be piiiiiiiiissed. It would make for a great opportunity to work on some Trump and/or GOP outreach to them.

Franken was stupid to have succumbed as he did. Dems were stupid to have denied him due process.

It was all a show... they were afraid Moore would win.

Franken not resigning would be a godsend from Franken and his party to his political counterparts in 2018.

I'm am going to say that I told you so.

The Moore loss was the short game for the DNC. They were banking on a Moore win and the long game against Trump and to beef up for '18

Of course it was. So was publically burning people at the stake. It was great entertainment...except for the one being burned.

Dems did just as they typically do. They acted first, and thought later. Now as they typically do, they'll attempt to shirk responsibility for a wholly irresponsible decision.

Better for Trump if Franken stays. Every time Franken appears...the mind's eye will see Him as portrayed in that groping photo. Seat will be Dem no matter; at least until the next election.

The Democrats should absolutely start playing this kind of dirty politics if they want to remain relevant.

After the Merrick Garland deal and with McConnell already refusing to seat Doug Jones, the Democrats need to finally realize their moral high ground BS is only hurting themselves.

Hopefully, they convince him.

Yeah - me too - I'd rather have his ugly face up their talking his nonsense than his replacement - the seat is going to some radical DEM either way, and the next one may be a better human being than the scum Franken.

At first I wanted Conyers to stay also, but IF Franken remains, then I am GLAD they booted Conyer's stupid arse out of the HoR. It will be delicious shoving that black shitbag-vs-white shittierbag dichotomy in the BCC's faces.
