I would love to know what your plan is. For 100 years the conventional wisdom on this issue has led to thousands of deaths, poverty, terrorism, and abject chaos. Until someone proposes a new, better plan, everyone can shut it. The funniest part to this is that none of the ME countries want America running it. So they will come up with a different plan to prevent us from doing so. Which will be a win for Trump, Palestine, and Israel. Congrats, you think like a DIM.

Trump is not displacing anyone.
Israel already saw to that part of it.
Now what do you do with the people who have already been displaced and what do you do with the war ravaged land? How to make it habitable, stable, and prevent the same tribal takeover that has been happening every 8 years for 2 millenia.

Maybe so, but others can take our place... but yet they haven't yet stepped up. They want to attack Israel but they don't want to do it themselves. This need to happen, whether it is USA, Israel, or someone else, the Palestinians need to removed from proximity to Israel.
They have chosen to be puppets of the likes of Iran and now they are being removed from the equation. After this happens any of the countries that want to attack Israel will not be able to do it by proxy so easily.

It's more than just the people living in this area. The Israel-Palestine situation has been the primary beacon for Islamic terrorism since the 60s. I imagine this plan would maintain that status quo a bit and keep the talking points alive for the mullahs across the Middle East and Central Asia.
