What's sad is that there will be no discussion of the conditions that led to this situation.
NYC is a cesspool and when you make regular civilians fend for themselves against violent, mentally ill homeless with a rap sheet a mile long...well this is what happens.
The deceased should have been locked up somewhere long ago - either in a mental institution or penal institution - both for others' safety and his own.

You can't kill someone for yelling. Only time deadly force is justified is if the dude is physically attacking or is armed, etc. I don't know all the details, but I have seen no evidence he was armed.
