This (the poster you are referring your comments to) is without question one of the most disingenuous posters I’ve encountered here

If you want to create a discussion great

If you just have to lie about everything from who you voted for to whether Trump called specific judges disgraceful to whether it’s actual possible to run a business in an environment that tariffs are being imposed with minimizing your exposures…..at some point you must have to shake your head and call said poster what they are. A liar or an idiot.

So you’re in agreement with “some”. But not 50%. Because it’s bad for your business. Only it’s not because you can react to market conditions. Except you’ve spent 8 pages complaining about it. But you’ll be fine. Because you voted for him 3 times.

Maybe the problem is you don’t know what the frick you think. Or worse you’re caught in so many different lies (I voted for him but this is bad but I’m fine but but but) that you’ve turned yourself into a horses arse of contradictions.

Yes I think the President and his administration is in charge off foreign policy. Yes I think they and every other admin can impose tariffs to affect foreign policy and behaviors. Yes I think they can impose sanctions and embargo’s as well.

Is 10% right. 15. I don’t know. He’s had 24 hours to react.

But you’ll be fine no matter what. Because you can react to market conditions. And you’re in favor of “some”. It’s just you’re just smarter than Trump and bessent and Rubio and the rest of the people you voted for 3 times who are in charge.

Let’s hope you get added to the foreign policy team soon. You can use your business and your consistent positions on your resume.

Someone doesn't worship Donna T and this is your reply. Dude has the same opinion as millions of other business owners, but you got em, boy! Put em in their place!!!!! (See all those exclamation points, like your daddy uses?)

Oh yeah that’s right. Lsugolf was busy getting ready to vote for Trump for the 3rd time.

i did

Most posters when caught in this obvious a lie and ridiculed over it to this degree would have the good sense to move on

Kudos to you for being this stupid and stubborn.

I don't understand why you guys always throw in the "I voted for Trump X amount of times but" like it lends weight to your point.

It's thrown out because the true MAGA believers will label anyone who isn't 100% lockstep with Trump policy as a leftist, troll, etc. It doesn't change anything though, as you can see by the responses in this thread

quote:

You voted for him three times. Tariffs weren’t hidden. They weren’t subtle. They weren’t buried in policy white papers. They were a central plank of his economic message from 2016 forward. Trade wars, China, “they’re ripping us off,” all of it was front and center.

By the third vote, he was absolutely a known quantity. He had already imposed tariffs in his first term. The effects were debated publicly for years. But you're upset about tariffs now like you discovered something new?

Coincidentally, I voted for him 3 times ( ) but I still reserve the right to call out policy I don't like. He was the best option based on my beliefs. People who think for themselves shouldn't have an issue calling out things that go against their beliefs instead of just changing when the wind blows.

quote:

To borrow a phrase from MAGA, "This is what you voted for." YOU are responsible for this.

This much is true. I still wouldn't change my vote. I do think his own voterbase will be disproportionately affected by his decisions here

I run a business where we are distributor for an American product. These tariffs level the playing field for us.

Point taken. I guess I just don't care what they label me. My arguments stand or they don't. The labels are just white noise and I just think of those that hurl them around as "white noise posters" that aren't worth conversing with.

Of course, but a central plank of his campaign? What's the point of complaining about something you voted for? If he's still the lesser of two evils in your mind, that's just part of the equation. The cost of doing business, if you will. It's like buying a house and bitching that now you have to mow the lawn. Sure, it sucks, but you knew that going into it, and decided you'd rather own a home than rent an apartment anyways. Your neighbors don't want to listen to you bitch about it.

Lmao….you have fewer than 700 posts, half of which are in this thread, and “allegedly” only been on here for less than a year.

But, by all means, carry on with your histrionics

You’re too stupid to own a business

Nice one. I started a business 20 years ago and now do about $100M in sales and employ 50 US citizens. Guess being stupid has its perks.

Look, i came on here last night to see the reaction and offer perspective from a Trump voter who owns a business that is affected negatively by tariffs. Guess that was too much for some of you.
