I'll write it in crayon for you.
Dems are proponents of big, intrusive government (see Eurocat).
Taxpayers will see shutdown does not impact their lives (or will see any impact is minimal).
Some taxpayers will be "woke" enough to question why government is so big.
Dems lose their ability to convince people government spending should be increased (or even stay at current levels).
