I think it is, and has this even been mention on the nightly news?

There is no news. It's TMZ and MTV type info which the sheeple lap up. Mix in some liberal narratives and wallah, nightly news

I bet Lois is crushed, she was depending on that computer to clear her name once and for all.

Was this outside of protocol in that situation or just standard operating procedure?

“We believe the standard IRS protocol was followed in 2011 for disposing of the broken hard drive. A bad hard drive, like other broken Information Technology equipment, is sent to a recycler as part of our regular process,” an IRS spokesman said in response to a query from POLITICO.

Yep. Just like Rex said... no evidence... squeeky kleen!
Phoney scandal anyway. Republicans are just playing politics.

I'll make sure to destroy all possible evidence once I know I'm being investigated for something. Thanks!!

What happened to the 26000 emails of hers that were archived?
Posted on 6/18/14 at 11:02 pm to pistolpete23
By any means necessary

Remember the other day when I said that this would happen and you would be in here defending the indefensible?

Do they expect us to believe her hard drive is the only place those emails were stored?
Liberals on this board, do you even believe that?

Isn't that about two years prior to any investigation for "something"?

Wait, so they don't even attempt to try to recover any info? They just say "oh, this is broken so we'll send it to the recycling center"?
1. If my hard drive crashes on my work computer, I will do everything I can to recover that info.
2. I can access my emails from my company's server and so can my company.
3. Why in God's holy name are we sending govt hard drives and computers to a recycler? That stuff should be incinerated and the ashes dumped into the ocean.

My point is that this administration could have informed the investigators of this long ago. They choose slow play everything just like you choose to quote endless regulations at the expense of common sense.

No. They've reconstructed 24,000 of her emails from this time period by getting them from other computers and they will be providing these if that have not already done so.

Link?
I'm sure the ones that are incriminating are somewhere between the numbers 24,250-25,000.
