I didn't say I was or wasn't.

I just called out two idiots for different reasons.

But this idea that the virus isn’t that bad because we didn’t overwhelm the system while everyone stays inside for a month is such a weak take.

why?

we were projected with HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS of deaths WITH social distancing over 6-18 months. it was projected in the millions without SD

now it's at 60k...and falling

the whole point of the policy was to lower stress on hospitals (ICU beds and vents, specifically). we were supposed to overwhelm some WITH social distancing. hasn't happened except maybe in NYC

Again the model was predicting if the virus ran its course without any intervention.

It’s pretty interesting. My fiancé is an ICU nurse at a major hospital here in Austin. Her unit covers 30 beds, but only have 8-10 occupied, half of which are the kung flu.

Are they low on crucial PPE? Sure, but still working fine. Are they overwhelmed with work? Not even close. They’re sending nurses home daily due to the general population being relative healthy right now.

Becuase graphs like this are more easily digestible:

So we're proving the joke of a lockdown has worked because Sweden is using 150 more ICU units than the some convenient norm?

I've literally watched people dry humping each other in the grocery store for the past month. This is nothing close to a quarantine. If anyone thinks that this is an effective solution, then you are out of your mind. Keeping gramps at home will reduce numbers granted, but we can slip them grub under the door for a month and keep the country going. We've been had, but go on and convince yourselves that uncles sam gives a F about 60k people..or even 200k.

Tucker made a good point - if you want to spread a virus throughout your community efficiently, make sure everyone passes through a single neighborhood (indoor) space once or twice a week ...... like the grocery store. Enter your PIN at Safeway, get a free case of COVID.

And then there are the idiots wearing masks that don't cover their nose (Schumer isn't the only one).

When they stopped the elective procedures that emptied out the hospitals. But, of course the Dems and the media won't admit that.

Why aren’t they overwhelmed?

Because this virus isn’t that big of a deal.

Our hospitals were never going to be overwhelmed.

Most likely you are correct, which is why Sweden is partying on.

This was all a huge waste of time, resource and money... let alone they probably could have stopped many more deaths by isolating the elderly sick i.e. nursing homes.

Pretty sickening how people like Andrew Cuomo set out to manipulate the public into believing that if he wasn't sent thousands upon thousands of ventilators that New Yorkers were going to die in droves from lack of necessary medical equipment. And the murderous failure of Trump to send all that equipment the very first day. And that the hordes of intensive care patients were upon us then and there. Sickening.

Virtually all the politicians are all-in on the hoax of the century. Heck, you got the dumb asses that fell for all this shite won't even admit they are wrong on this board. I said probably by mid-March people were being bamboozled, well, that was the understatement of the century.

- Russia, russia, russia
- Vents, vents, vents
- testing, testing, testing

more like

- idiots, idiots, idiots that believed any of this nonsense

They've been rick rolled.
