This bill doesn't get it done. I worked roughley 750 hours of overtime last year, and 400 this year so far. Wife works maybe 100. No tax for overtime would be HUGE for my family, and I would honestly tip more. I've probabley paid 500k on taxes over the last 10 years. Think about that for a second. I earned 500k that I had to give to uncle Sam. Over 30 years of work my tax burden is 1.5 million dollars if it stays consistent. If that's not theft I don't know what is

But those that have salaried jobs that put in the same overtime, didn’t get paid for OT, and paid taxes those same 30 years should get nothing?

Interesting.

I’ll go out on a limb and say if this makes it all the way through, the republicans will be a split base and the democrats just carved out an avenue for themselves.

You get paid what you sign up for. Show me a salaried person claiming to work even 300 hours over a year and I'll show you a liar.

Not to mention when they do they are awarded comp days, larger bonuses, and other incentives . Your assertion that it is in any way equil is at best disingenuous.

Same to you, you signed up to pay taxes on your overtime right?

It’s ok everyone is out for themselves. We see it. It’s not about the national debt at all for most of you.

Clearly you’ve never worked on the executive level floor of any building.

It’s ok, believe that.

Oh! A fat fingered mispelling on a small keyboard "strengthens" your argument? Straw man gonna straw man. I have a BS from UNO and a MS from LSU. You want to go class for class on grades?
I do have time for a good, good laugh.

You literally said "there are people that turn down OT due to the high amount of taxes on those wages"

Regardless of your words, your actions show you to be a liberal. You walk, talk and act like one. Being a pompous, pretentious, arrogant, condescending, better-than-thou, elitist, smug, a$$ is why I call you a liberal. Not your "tone". I can't even hear you to judge your tone. Thought I do love the tone of my Martin D-18 Golden Era.

If you didn’t make it above O-5 haven’t served in 3 wars and do not have at least 2 bronze stars, legion of merit, 16 deployments and top security clearance and have been an XO for an elite combat unit based at the second largest base in this great country you are barking up the wrong tree.

I do thank you for your service though.

Not melting. Asserting dominance.
You're credentials have been called. Put up or shut up. I'm sure when you fail at that you will also fail at presenting the compensation you DO GET for working over as salaried.
If you don't get anything it's not America's fault you work for a shite company.
