Why don’t you give them your paycheck and get refunded when the payments start up again.
How the frick do you think these miserable lazy maggots have been getting paid all these years? From American tax payers. I have given these clowns enough.
So Coast Guardsmen, air traffic controllers, and border patrolmen a "miserable lazy maggots" now, eh?
What a dumbass.

Have you ever thought about detaching yourself from working for the Government? You people have so many excuses I can't even keep up. You sound like the fat person that has 20 excuses on why they can't lose weight even though they are eating enough food for 3 people a day and sucking back a gallon of soda a day.
Here's a thought...how about the next time you need anything from anyone that works for the government, you just go frick yourself instead?

Tell me, what do you do for a living?
I own McDonald's and Jersey Mike's franchises
I own a parking lot
I own a garden style apartment building
I own a small 'strip mall'
I am on the BOD for a community bank
Instinct tells me to call bullshite because you're too fricking stupid to own any of those.
But I'll play along.
Maybe the next time one of your shitty Jersey Mike's gets robbed or vandalized, when the cops show up, maybe they'll just spit in your face and tell you to go frick yourself. Because, after all, they're miserable lazy maggots, right?

With every keystroke, you just continue to prove what everyone else already knows. That's what people do when they can't argue the facts. You're a perfect example.

In your estimation, is there anything that the federal government should employ people to do? We know you think air traffic controllers like me are useless leaches, and now federal prison guards who could get shanked at any moment are scum to you. So, what federal bureau or job meets your lofty and exacting standards?

You're the one melting on a message board over what other people think of your job.
Insecure much?

I don't rely on the government for every facet in my life. Why would I? They are failures.

Anyone who watches the news or reads a newspaper knows how lazy, corrupt, and pitiful these guys are. Prisons are loaded with drugs and contraband.

I have no problem with elected Government officials. I tend to think the private sector does things much better and efficient than government. Case in point USPS vs UPS and FedEx, DHL, etc.
Another example is Private airport security firms are far superior to TSA. Air Traffic Controllers would be no different.
I don't need or want the government holding my hand. I like to be able to make my own money and not rely on the government for it. I mean we have people on here that are acting like they will be starving in a few days because the government is shutdown. None of my employees have that problem.

Give me just one example of a fact that I've posted in this thread that is not accurate. If you can't that makes you look like an idiot.
Don't run away and hide now...you're doing so well impressing others with your written communication skills and maturity.

I agree with pretty much everything you said and could get behind most of it. I’ve said on here before that privatizing ATC would mean a stable stream of funding without worry of government shutdowns. If we could maintain the same efficiency and safety, I say go private.
What I don’t agree with is the assumption that if a government employee (especially an essential one) complains about not getting paid, then they’re leaches that have no brains or sense to have savings or a sensible financial outlook. I’m not acting like I’m starving, but I would like my goddamn check for the 96 hours I worked.

My argument is there are very few of these in reality. And, that this shutdown has shown how expendable government employees really are.

You will get your money eventually. On the flip side I am not sure why after all this you would willingly want to keep working for the government. They have been failing us for decades now. Government can't even get my mail delivered in a correct and timely manner half the time.

By the way Jake. I worked for a privatized prison before working for the government. No fricking thank you. They are the ones that are corrupt, because the benefits and pay aren't up to par. I make more now, 54k (it's not much, but for someone like me, that don't have a college degree, it's a good chunk of change) with 2 retirements and health insurance, than I did working private prisons with nothing coming out. In other words go frick yourself.

Are you in a Union? I am not here to shite on your salary or benefits. I think it is great you get to retire early and have 2 retirements. I am past retirement age and still going. I would have loved to retire in my mid forties. I am not wishing anything bad on you or your family. I am simply stating that in my life experiences the private sector provides more effective and efficient goods and services than the public sector.
