No, you're right ... as with all states, we've got our fair share of dumbasses.
What the transplanted yankee vote, especially in the GOP primary, is doing though ... is defeating our attempts to primary Lindsey out of the GOP ticket.
So, while plenty of us despise that POS, he gets reelected every six years with a straight GOP lever pull because he is the lesser evil on voting day in general elections.

And y’all have definitely ruled out the possibility that it’s not the clearly larger group who are the dumbasses and/or uneducated idiots, but instead perhaps y’all in the minority group? If you take the harsh rhetoric out of the equation, i.e. refrain from automatically assuming that the others obviously must be dumbasses or uneducated idiots, and rather just set the stage as majority group (them) versus minority group (y’all), is it not admittedly at least possible that “right” and y’all wrong?
I seriously ain’t trying to flame here, just not finding the yall’s explanation/justification to be reasonable.

Graham has a lot of pull in SC, and quite honestly no better candidate ever runs against him.
The bigger issue is Clyburn. With as much as democrats cry and boohoo about Republicans moving voting districts for their benefit, they’re silent on the bastardized, hodge podge voting districts that Clyburn has benefitted from that cover every majority black area in the state.
