The reality is Biden will likely be cognitively fine, like in his acceptance speech. The challenge for Trump is how will he react and handle both Biden and the moderator consistently stating that "what the president just said is a lie". They will completely bury every statement Trump makes in that and like it or not, it will be him who is on the defensive all night. Trump likely will lose his cool a few times, and they will just soak it up.
All the networks will be running non-stop banners on the screen calling Trump's statements inaccurate and lies.

.....I'm thinking they won't let Biden debate President Trump. But if Biden does debate, it will most likely turn out to be a debate between Trump and the moderators with Creepy Joe Biden looking on. You know the debate committee will attempt to corner Trump, and shield Biden. Or pull a Donna Brazile end run and give the questions to the Biden campaign in advance. Advantage Biden.
