Outside of S. Louisiana, there aren't a whole lot of Catholics in "the American South."

Guy has a goofy/twisted/skewed perspective to say the least. Very clownish.

The only people that are so divisive are people on the internet. In real life it’s not divisive at all. Everybody I know are very happy with everything Trump and his team are doing and they don’t really care to follow politics like we do on this message board or people on X

Preposterous .

If the right had their way, every single American would attend a Christian church .. and have 3 or 4 kids.. and no one would be allowed to get or perform an abortion .. and every single college professor would have to be aligned with Christian, Conservative beliefs, lest they be “omg indoctrinating !!” The college students.. and school teachers would need to be trained to carry guns in their classrooms …

Dont get it twisted, i am not arguing for the validity of ANY of those things, or their consequences for society, or any of that- i just want to know how the frick all those things are not an attempt to control people ??

Dude, I am a conservative and I don't go to church. I smoke dope. I don't believe we need to be the world police. I am one of MILLIONS who just bc I know that there is only TWO sexes am not a Nazi. You people spew that dribble bc your divisiveness gives you voice. Your voice is dying a slow slow death.

I think if there is a plan by Republicans for something large, (like health care) on the table ready to go, it might compel voters to the voting booth.

I think something that addresses the actual cost drivers such as caps on malpractice, being able to triage and turn away at ER's, flood the market with affordable clinics for non emergent care, force hospitals to provide up front pricing remove all non citizens from medical welfare programs, incentivize efficient end of life care by hospital administrators, addressing Rx patents, make more Rx available over the counter, where possible....

NOT simply pumping more money into the system or taxing more. I believe Obamacare is starting to get a little stink on it, even in traditional media.

Preposterous

your entire screed was just that - preposterous.

You are selecting a few 'talking points' relative to a very few outlier 'conservative' voices. There is NO universal - or even moderate support - for any of the extreme issues you cited.

It would be like MAGA supporters concentrating on things like
= Seditious Statements (oh wait - 6 dem senators actually did that - and the media supported it)".
or
= Violent suppression free speech (oh wait - assassins actually killed Kirk, tried to kill Trump twice, staked out to kill a SCOTUS justice - and the media concentrates on the 'other side of the argument')
or
= Roaming bands obstructing justice (oh wait - Antifa groups and muslim adherents ARE interfering with the strict application of our federal laws in the open with paid 'protesters' and 'free' implements for their support = all with the media praising their 'side of the situation')
or
= Abject propaganda disguised as the 'news' that dominate every newscast.

quote:

If the right had their way

= People would adhere to the constitution - like we have always done - to our detriment because the left treats the constitution like soiled toilet paper
= We would help out our neighbors when they needed it - like we did following the Great Depression
= People would not support degenerate impulses - like the 'progressives' do now
= People would work for what they need - like we did before LBJ introduced the welfare state.
= etc etc etc

Your screed on what "WE" would do is right out of the Democrat propaganda handbook. === pure bullshite - not a word of truth in the whole list.

YOUR problem is that you are accusing "the right" of every boogey man outrage that arises in your sick, fevered, illogical mind.

Look in the mirror - if it doesn't break with the insult you will see a sick demented sad excuse for human existence.

Brother you have no idea how divisive I'm ready for them to get. I want my country back so my kids have it better than me.

Holy shite, tell me you're completely gaslit and programmed by the media narrative control apparatus without telling me. And tell me your perception of your "enemy" is completely ignorant without telling me.

I know literally thousands of conservatives, and they believe that the abortion thing is a States-rights issue. I know literally thousands of true Christians and they believe that it's good to have kids, but would never want to force anyone to do it, and they believe in the "free will" granted to man through GOD'S grace and the sacrifice of Christ for our salvation, so it's up to the individual to decide if they want to believe or not believe, or to attend church or not. Guess what? I'm a non-denominational Christian that hasn't attended church regularly for years. Almost everyone I associate with DOES attend church regularly, including my kids and the majority of my inner circle of friends. Not one of them has ever tried to castigate or criticize me for my choice. EVER. Weird, huh? And the "guns in schools" thing? Well it needs to happen. Schools are soft targets. I don't really care if it's getting select teachers and staff properly trained in firearms and defensive threat response, or if it’s placing well-trained and armed security in schools. You combine that with the more modern lock down protocols that most schools are doing, and the number of these attacks on school kids by DERANGED LEFTISTS will greatly decrease and be resolved much more quickly.

Your statement is truly one of the most fricking retarded things I have EVER read on this board, and that's saying something because I've been here long enough to remember when tarzana, Rex and MastrShake were in their prime.

But your response absolutely and demonstrably proved that the OP's thread is 100% correct, so thanks for that.

Look in that mirror, and engage in introspect. You may find that your own close-mindedness and misconception are fueling the problems that we face in modern America. Conservatives really do just want to le left alone, but your team just keeps pushing farther and farther and one day you're going to push too far.

You can't even legally access Pornhub in Mississippi anymore.

Explain to me how in the living blue frick is that "freedom". How is that "live and let live"???

The religious right can frick up a wet dream. We need to start taxing the GD churches.

Been following politics a long time since Carter.

I have never seen politics this vile, abusive, toxic, violent, combative EVER as today is.

Everything is so out the box it’s really unsettling.

You just aren't looking hard enough then. I vividly remember the early 2000's when anybody that didn't want to send our boys in to Iraq were "unpatriotic" and "didn't support the troops". I remember being stupid enough back then that I agreed with the sentiment.

Politics is more combative, but we didn't just get here out of nowhere. It's been a slow steady ramp for decades. For some reason republicans understand how toxic language can be when they hear a liberal say that Trump is a fascist, but they laughed their tits off for decades when Limbaugh for example decried feminazi's etc.
