He didn't get Intel. He received political donations from charming neocons and zionists. And because he's too stupidly loyal, he'll do whatever they say. His loyalty is the reason why he kept Elon Musk onboard for so long despite there being rumors of a rift once DOGE got to work. Trump just doesn't know when to say no once he's been honey dicked. His arrogance is his greatest strength, but his susceptible ego has been his downfall.
And since AIPAC is always buying so many of our politicians, Congress will likely give the ok to formally declare war on Iran soon.

I don't think he changed. Many of us just didn't notice that he was easily manipulated. He responds well to praises and accolades, but takes criticism extremely poor.
This was very apparent during his first ever meeting with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi during his first term.
