He made copies of all the info and gave originals to FBI months ago. IIRC, he was calling them during the impeachment and asking why they aren’t saying anything. They told him to shut up.
Eventually, he got ahold of someone connected to the GOP and turned it over, hence Rudy ending up with them.

The FBI is likely trying to save their own asses because they were heavily involved in the election spying on him and then a political hit job on him via the Mueller investigation.
They would rather bury a president they hate than admit wrongdoing which may imprison current and/or former employees and cause the agency a huge loss of face.

The FBI is, and likely always has been, an agency designed to maintain power over political interests. Trump is not outright controllable, and therefore can't be predicted. Everything you learned in civics class is wrong. This country is corrupt to the core, and it's finally being revealed to everyone. Some will mentally not be able to accept this.

Royal this is seriously blowing my mind. From the Bush’s being bad — to just everything these days. My mind is blown.
Trump by no means is perfect but I trust him a whole hell of a lot more than anyone else at this point. He’s not doing this for political aspiration at this point in his life.

There's only one reason computer repair guy has to contact the FBI- and that's CP. If Billy the repairman finds it when he's imaging the HDD, then he by law has to contact the federales, or else he's complicit in it. Repair guy doesn't likely care enough about email content and selling secrets in order to contact the feds. Not worth the headache. CP? Different bag of biscuits altogether.
