So you started an idiotic thread with no common sense. You started a thread for this? Does it make your TDS less severe?

If you are a bottom submissive lesbian person behind the wheel of an SUV that a federal agent is standing at the front of and your top/dominant lesbian partner, whom you've allowed to put cigarettes out on the arms of your children which that state had to remove from you, starts screaming "drive, drive, drive, would you drive off slowly or take off with urgency?

You have 1.7 seconds before you are hit IF she does not accelerate.
Hindsight is always 20-20. Unfortunately, you don't have that luxury while in the moment.

1. Am I expecting it to go toward me?
2. Am I in a confrontation with an agitator driving the car?
3. Am I walking towards the car before it changes direction toward me?
4. Did I get dragged a few months prior in a similar situation?

If a law enforcement officer is in front of your car as you are in the process of being arrested, do you have a right to hit them with your vehicle as you attempt to flee arrest?

A Honda pilot creeps in drive at 10MPH BEFORE you ever accelerate. Once you hit the gas, it hits 60 in six seconds.

So she wasn’t going 2, you idiot.

Context matters.

If it was just a random pedestrian and a driver. Then the pedestrian would try to avoid and the driver would try to stop the car.

If the driver has broken federal laws and is about to be arrested... and a law enforcement is standing to the side of the car and in front of the car to prevent the driver from escaping... then any hostile action that can lead to harm that the driver does.. is seen as an attack on law enforcement, and they can and will use force.

If a driver is just minding his own business and a violent mob surrounds his car and starts attacking his car and trying to pull him out.... then the driver is justified in slowly driving through the mob to get away.

The way you are framing your question by placing responsibility on the pedestrian.. is implying that the driver was in the right and it's up to the pedestrian to get out of the way. Akin to the third situation I wrote. About a driver being surrounded by a violent mob.

This is the leftist dumbass take. Doesn’t matter if the shooter was in actual or even perceived danger. A person who is going to drive his/her/its car at an officer is a threat to the public and needs to be neutralized.

Wrong question.

The correct question:

If a police officer is giving you a lawful order, do you obey it or do you hit him with your car?

Go get you a mid-sized SUV, go to Minneapolis, impede Federal LEO doing their job, ignore lawful orders to exit your vehicle, then attempt to run over said Federal LEO, and get back to us on the result.

fricking idiot.

Am I legally obligated to move?
Are they legally obligated to stop?
