What is it going to take for the left to move on from this?
What difference does it make? Amirite?
Look, the election is over and done and Trump is president. I'm glad Hillary didn't win. He has potential to do much better than her and I hope he does. But, I also hope he has a clear view on what Russia is up to. They aren't our friend. Romney was right.

enate hearing that it was Russia that hacked and interfered with our election.
Once again.. How did they hack the email? Can we at least get to an agreement on that..
As far as the fake news... Have they, are will they release with proof actual examples

Did they change votes, or just expose corruption and let people make up their own minds?
What they interfered with was liberal's plans to cheat.
ETA: Donna Brazille interfered with the election process more than Russia.
They were clear on what they meant. A foreign power inserted itself into our election process by hacking and releasing information that would make one side look worse than the other. That has been the assertion. That is what they said.
Are they right? I have no idea. But, you not knowing what they mean by "interfered" is kind of silly. They've said it over and over again, including multiple times today. You can reject that. But, that is what they said.

Clapper has already perjured himself when he said in a Congressional hearing that the intelligence community didn't actively spy on American citizens.
The Snowden leaks proved this was false. There's sizable precedent for intelligence services lying under oath.

I guess it will be in the report. I don't know.
I'm just posting that they said it was Russia in the hearing today. Since they were under oath and they were clear, it struck me as substantive. Since there has been no opposition within the IC, especially with a new president coming in, that causes me to think they have credibility here.

I get that. But, you've got 16 other agencies saying the same thing. They would all have to be lying.

Show me 16 separate analysis, not 16 heads agreeing with another agency's analysis.

I would imagine when Trump gets the final report and its conclusive from all fronts he will let us know that very fact.
Would people, you included, feel better if Trump demands a report from all intel groups on American involvement and interference the last 8-16 years?
Would you believe them if they all concluded that no interference was implemented by the US anywhere?

But in the 2012 Presidential election, the Obama campaign actively solicited forbidden contributions from anonymous foreigners. Money=influence.

They said that Russia definitely interfered. They do not believe they altered the outcome - or, rather, they cannot say what affect they might have had.

They used bit.ly accounts to send out thousands of phishing emails to targets. If someone took the bait, custom malware was downloaded on the targets' computers. The malware then migrated to all other computers on the network and exfiltrated data.

As I understand it there will be some discussion of this in the declassified report to be released on Monday. Not sure how far they will go in the public release. There will also be a classified version of the report given to Congress and a third compartmentalized version of the report distributed by need to know.

And then you'll want to see their work, right?
And, when you see that you'll want access to the data so you can run analysis yourself, right?
And then, after that, you'll want to find the alleged hackers and interview them yourself, right?
After that, you'll want video of them doing the actual hacking, right?
Then, you'll want proof that the video was not altered, I assume.
Look, I'm just commenting on what I saw today. We are on the TD poli board. It is what it is. If you don't believe the Intel Directors, that is fine. But, it seems that you are convinced of your opinion no matter what. Fair enough. We all do that with certain things. I can't figure out what anyone would do that with this, though, but have at it, I guess.

The real question is why is Trump defending Putin?
I don't think he is defending Putin as much as he is his own legitimacy which anyone would do and should do for the sake of the nation. There is nothing in the world good that can come from any of this...either the Russians or other state players were involved and we involved in a way to favored one candidate over another OR they were not and 17 intelligence agencies are currently going before congress with information that is more aggregious than anything leading up to the misguided invasion of Iraq and either doing for political purposes or through incompetence....
As far as Democrats moving on why on earth would any American move on until it is settled? Seriously...either your candidate's legitimacy is being called into question for either legitimate reasons or for political reasons which are coming from the intelligence community OR you candidate's campaign was derailed by foreign actors....this is not something you simply dismiss out of hand and move on....and I mean as a Trump supporter this is going to be a major issue for your candidate and the president if it is not handled appropriately....keep in mind that more people who took the time to vote voted against Trump or for Clinton and among those who did vote for Trump a large number did so because they simply could not vote for Clinton and not because they liked Trump....he is at a disadvantage mathematically no matter what...and this is only going to make that situation worse if it is dismissed out of hand because all of the democrats and the RINOs as yall like to call them will have more than enough fuel for their fires.....Trump needs to take this seriously and get to the bottom of it no matter where it leads...

I was replying to you and your assertion that Russia hacked the US election - which is a complete fabrication of truth.
Frankly, I don't give a damn if they did or didn't hack the election, Hillary isn't going to be the President.
Trump didn't win because "Russia hacked the election". Trump won because he wasn't part of the establishment and people are sick of the establishment.
Its the establishment politicians that see their gravy train of power pulling out of the station and they aren't on it so they want to scare dim-wits into believing Trump is some great evil tyrant.
