I don’t think so.

I think they are so beholden to the uber-progressive wing of their party that they became concerned about Shapiro and Kelly, two candidates that aren’t viewed as “progressive enough”.

I think Shapiro would have taken the job had he been offered. Same with Kelly.

I'm thinking that may be the case as well. This might be a sign that the democratic party now believes that they can win with a purely socialist ticket.

Walz will play well to middle America.
Scoff, if you wish, but just watch the guy campaign. He’s also very good in tv interviews.

Hes a terrible pick and shows Democrats cannot read the room very well.

He's a progressive. He brings nothing to the table that wasnt already on that table.

Dumb move by Democrats or a sacrifice. Not sure.

Because their top-level (pols, staffers, strategists, etc.) have no actual connection to "Middle America" ("Flyover states" whatever term you want to use), and pick people they think appeal to them.

VOR tried to compare Kamala/Walz to Clinton in another thread and the issues I cited above could be no different among the ticket today and Bill Clinton.

He likes trannies. End of story.

He won’t play well in Middle America.

Hes a progressive. Your opinion is terrible.

No one likes progressives except other fringe radicals.

100%

Kelly would have been better for middle America, and Shapiro, although probably not as good with middle America, brings in PA and is pretty well approved of.

It’s a lot closer to a white flag.

He wasn’t in Vietnam.

He was in the national guard. He joined in 1981, 6 years after the Vietnam war ended.

I prefer the repub version myself:
Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.

Really showcases the level they operate at

Here’s the thing with Bootie

Out of all democrats - he’s the only one that comes to my mind for actually trying to help America through his transportation policies

What good does it to win Michigan if you lose Pennsylvania and the election?

Exactly. Trump only has to win one of Michigan, Wisconson, Penn, Minnesota and Virginia.

Only one.
