I remember when Bill Clinton/Joe Biden's "crime bill" created mass incarceration, and it worked. Sometimes you have to lose your ideal of utopia to accept reality.

Anyone with a brain knew this argument was coming.
This is similar to the "grocery prices aren't falling fast enough" argument Progressives are making currently.
Progressives: "yeah, we systematically fricked things up terribly for the past four years on purpose, but now it is YOUR job to fix it"
Normals: "Ok, here are the steps to fix it"
Reality: Steps taking to fix it are providing great results
Progressives: "Oh yeah, well you didn't fix it fast enough and you are using federal entities to do it! You aren't the conservatives you claim you are! We want our crime and expensive prices back, fascists!"
