But it’s obvious there was a reason and it’s within all the catechism you posted - they didn’t do it ‘just because’ - I read my catechism before I posted the first time - it was changed because of the reason I posted the first time - it was not to exercise authority as you alluded to - it was to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus

Tsk, tsk... Y'all rosary rattlers get so upset when folks question the litany of extra-biblical stuff that is held up as sacrosanct via tradition and yet nary to be found in a copy of the Bible.

Yes, I love the passage where Jesus says teach a man to fish and you feed him for life.

It’s my third favorite verse after the part where he says God helps those who help themselves and Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

Those have always been the most inspirational scriptures imo

And every bit as rooted in scripture as ritualistic chanting, lighting candles like they do something metaphysically, and praying to dead people, so there's that...

We have church on Sundays in Christianity to celebrate Jesus’s overcoming of eternal damnation when he rose up.

Celebrate the feast of first fruits (incorrectly called easter)then. Yeshua wasn't changing the sabbath day, that will NEVER change. The Sabbath is a picture of the Millennial Reign of Jesus and by its observance, we proclaim its assurance.

Plenty of misinformation in that link - I really hope you don’t believe some of that - especially as an ex-Catholic

You must not be remembering too much from the Mass then because most of it is from the Bible

Ironically when the Mass was changed at Vatican 2 it was to make it more like other Christian denominations - to be more welcoming to others - it was not supposed to take the focus off of Jesus and His real presence there

And another person cannot really judge another one’s prayer habits - Jesus taught us the Our Father - are we not to repeat that?

I didn’t think you were being ugly at all - the link was interesting even though a lot of that info is totally wrong and then some of it depends on interpretation and perception

Except for Acts 20:7

And I’m not even a little upset - I’ll say a Rosary for you

Jesus would know too much about the activities of the socialist democratic party. The abortion issues, freedoms taken away like right to celebrate his existence and his father in heaven. He would advocate the gospels and scriptures of his teaching. Then when he was about to implement the Clintons and Obamas, or the deep state, of corruption, he would be crucified by them.

Zero chance Jesus truly approves of either party tbh.

I don't think he could truly bring himself to vote,

He would more than likely try to make his own party and to run on his own, at which point he would receive very little support just because of how Godless this world is.

Jesus is not even a Christian and he would look at a lot of you Christians and think you are wackos. But, I'm sure He would vote for MAGA.

I also think he would despise Trump for his arrogance and money first mindset. But I don't think he would have any love for lawless Biden either. He would probably rail against both leaders in some sermons

Any person of faith can't look past the abortion laws that democrats back. It's straight up evil.
