Jamaicans are about 73% made up of African descent. There's a lot that is disgusting about Kamala but this is a silly argument.
So what youre saying is she’s not African American.
How does her dad Jamaican (maybe 73% African) and her mother Indian equal majority African American?
That is not logical

You do realize that an African-American did not have to born in Africa right? Jamaicans are about 73% made up of African descent. There's a lot that is disgusting about Kamala but this is a silly argument.
Fine then. I'm Irish-American. I'll take my scholarship now, thanks.

I can't relate. My family history shows one slave ever owned by one relative who isn't in my direct lineage, and the record is iffy even on that
Sorry you’re poor baw

My people owned so many slaves and had them pickin' so much cotton and growin' so much tea and indigo that, these days, millions of African-Americans have they same last name as me .... one of the most used surnames amongst African-Americans in the world.
Thanks to my great great great Grandpappy and his Sons and Grandsons.
Wife's family ..... very similar.
And we've got proof. Ancestry.com plus our own families' paperwork that's been passed down for well over three centuries since arriving in Charleston.
It's amazing ... two wealthy Charleston families, our direct ancestors dating back to the mid 17th century .... yet, according to our DNA, we have remained as pure white as the driven snow.
They were for labor, not porkin'. And we educated them and set them free at times .... which is why so many black men, and women, took our names.
We don't run from the past. We embrace it. We've got pictures of our ancestors with slaves. We've got records of the 1000s that were owned, legally at the time, in towns named after us, all the same names, from SC to GA to TN and KY. Shelby Foote even interviewed my Grandpappy and Dad when he was writing one of his books about the beginning to the end, first shots fired to the last ....
And here I am today ... an old man, and I still don't gaf. Nor does my Son. My dumb arse daughters do ... but they're split tails and delusional and all they care about is virtue signaling and money .... colleges ruined all three of them on some level ... two attorneys and one Phd in clinical psychology. But my Son, he embraces it as all men in my family do.
frick it. The times were what they were. Africans sold Africans to slave traders who, in turn, sold them here in the new country.
Those that survived, survival of the fittest, were bigger, stronger, faster .... thus, what we have today ... great Southeastern athletes and culture and food and manners .... and we all get along.
Should we have picked our own cotton? Yeah, probably so .... if we had it to do all over again. But that's spilled milk. It was ending anyways with machine pickers, cotton gins, etc.
I ain't denying a frickin' thing. I'm tired of the bullshite. Time to move on. Those days are long gone. We learn from our mistakes. But I remain proud of my forefathers and what they accomplished and left for my family in the way of land and lifestyle and honor.

Most of Jamaicans are of African descent but don’t claim it.
Her great, great grandmother (paternal side)was born from an Irish Slave owner and likely one of his slaves. That is where her African roots MAY have started.
Mostly she is Indian and Irish.
Other words, a person from Africa is best 5x removed from her and only on one side.

Which isn’t rare even here in America. Slave owners were famously rapey. Lot of black folks with white ancestry around.
2% of white americans owned slaves at its height. 18% of free blacks owned them.
Take your BS somewhere idiots buy into it.
