Almost like we couldn’t give 2 shits at an American Sporting events largest stage.

When politics is a team sport, you have to pick sides on everything.
And even when you don't want to pick sides, and just think Bad Bunny sucks - it's assumed you picked a side.

That's fine.
But the debate is whether a guy who is not overly popular in the US should be the performer at the US's biggest sporting/TV event?
Sure, from the NFL's standpoint it makes sense if it is trying to gain a larger audience outside of the US. But I can understand US fans feeling like this is the US's premiere sporting event and the HT entertainment is a guy signing in a language the overwhelming majority of the US viewers don't understand.
That's the just though. The NFL has been public that their focus has shifted to making the shield a global brand, not just a US brand. They are focused on international markets, not the US market. People are having trouble acknowledging and accepting that.
They aren't concerned with the already entrenched US fan base.

Then Bad Bunny should play a venue outside the United States
Prior to being named the halftime show act, didn't he throw a tantrum and say he was refusing to perform in the US, despite some residency in PR?

fig Bunny is standing up for Puerto Rico? What's to stand up for? Half the territory is on welfare. It is literally a failed shithole who couldn't even survive without billions of free money from real America.
If you stand up for shite, then you are shite.
The left and their handful of useful idiot "conservative" brethren defending this are really desperate to make us think this no-talent loser is really something special. Only the dumbest are actually falling for it, thankfully.
