You do realize that a joint venture will involve a lot of legality. If this happens, I can assure you that the legal stipulations will be most favorable to the US. It also allows us to keep a closer eye on Iran in general. Morals aside, if we are benefiting financially from that as well, I'm not sure how this is indefensible. It's pretty fricking genius if you ask me.
