Have you ever spent any time around WW2 vets? How about a decorated WW2 such as H W Bush? If you had, you’d know the last thing they’d ever do is sully their honor and reputation and that of their fellow fallen soldiers in such a manner as you just tried to imply... Believe it or not, but there was a time in this country where you would never hear a vet asking for a military discount on a count of his service because that’s how much pride those men had.
