The issue is legal voters.
I really don't give a shite how or where you vote, but all votes should be legal votes.
Mailing everyone a ballot who has an address, or a Driver's license, or pays rent, or pays a utility bill circumvents the requirements of citizenship to vote.

Oh look foreigners who cant speak English or have any wish to vote are now on the voter rolls? Print ballots for all registered voters who have not voted. Auto fill desired candidate. Drop in box to be counted as legal vote

No, that doesn't mean they will necessarily go out and vote, but in FraudHaven (large, corrupt blue cities with rampant late-night harvested ballot dumps and so on) that also doesn't mean votes won't be counted in their names as Democratic voters.

Yes it does. Just like in California and other state that have voter registration automatically tied to drivers licenses.
