It's automatic with this board. If any news outlet reports something that they don't like, it's automatic fake news swamp dem media.

Can you honestly blame people for being skeptical of the media considering the state it's been in the past couple decades or more?

She's proven to not be of even average intelligence since her time as governor.

Washington is full of people of below average intelligence.

I suspect they get so used to doling out multi-million dollar favors that it becomes de riguer.

So is this a demotion of sorts? Soft firing?

She's currently speaking in Nashville to the Sergeant Benevolent Association Major Cities Conference. It doesn't sound like she knows she's been moved out as DHS Secretary yet.

Noem seems all about theatrics and cosplay, which, admittedly, is straight up Trump's street

So I don't fault her entirely for the antics. FWIW, I think there is way, way 10000x more serious thinking going on behind the scenes of Trump 2.0 than round 1 and I hope moving Mullin into this role is just more of that.

Yes, I can. When it comes to something objective like a firing or a statement, why not wait a few minutes before smacking your retarded gums and saying "NOW DAT RITE DERE IS SUM FAKE NEWS" and embarrassing yourself?

All I know is when they sent Homan to Minnesota, he settled everything down in like five minutes.

Its a soft firing. She was demoted to a position that technically doesn't exist yet

Stitt is a Republican anyway.

Oklahoma has been the most ironclad Republican stronghold in the country in recent years. There’s basically zero risk here from a party majority standpoint.

The publicity was for herself. Not for the DHS

Which is why I hated the hire to begin with. I didn't mind most of his hires. This one I actively disliked.

DHS requires someone serious. I wish Meatball was available for it right now

I would say this is the default "firing" of anyone who doesn't need to be embarrassed by an administration for disloyalty or bad acts

Like letting an employee you don't hate resign or find a new job

This would be a hilarious moment to see if she found out on stage about Trump's tweet
