To put this into an analogy, it's like a football game where Rittenhouse's team is ahead 3-0 with 3 seconds left on the clock and have just gotten the ball back on downs on their own 10yrd line. Putting Kyle on the stand would be like going for a Hail Mary instead of just getting into victory formation and taking the win with a knee.
