Fatty's entire line questioning is purely trying to cover the DA's office arse.

Which in and of itself is a disaster. Close cases are often won or lost on which side’s lawyer the jury likes more. Sad but true.
Not that this case is even a close call after catching up on this thread.
Also glad to see witnesses with principles that won’t be intimidated. They are risking a lot as well to ensure the truth comes out in court.

You think this is going to make it to a jury?
This case will get a directed verdict by the judge. Especially since they caught people trying to take video of the jury to intimidate them.
If I were him, I would be trying to crawl into a hole and not be seen until this is over.

Yeah, he comes off as a Forrest Gump type, and that makes him a sympathetic guy to the jury. When the prosecution tries to foul him up or make him look bad, they are 100% holding that shite against the prosecution.
