Perhaps you should zoom out a bent. It is obvious from Trump and his team post-election that they intend on ramping things up once they're in office. Perhaps they just manufactured anger for the purposes of elections, but truly understand why you can't continue allowing a hostile Russia to invade areas and countries every decade. Perhaps they get it and you don't.

The only advantage is range and loitering time. The US doesn’t worry about this because our air to air refueling network can keep our stuff I. The air theoretically indefinitely.
